The following pages are examples of work I've done for museum exhibits over the years.
Providing maintenance for exhibits is an ongoing battle. One morning this is how the Japanese exhibit was found. I have to admit we had a good laugh over this one. Over time the wax used to make the figure became brittle and gravity did its thing. Luckily, none of the objects in the diorama were damaged.

I worked with the Asian curator not only to correct the damage (figure left) but also to update the exhibit. The wax figure's head was re attached, her komono and hairstyle updated and it was decided to portray the pair playing a card game. Incidently, I cast my own (hard working) hands to complete the model.
This is an example of exhibit maintenance in the Rainforest exhibit. Dermestid beetles infested one of the cases which held freeze dried specimens. Another artist and I molded, cast, and painted the reptiles and returned them to the exhibit.

The insects pictured, faded because of exposure to UV light and needed to be painted.
