The following pages are examples of work I've done for museum exhibits over the years.
| I've recently done a project for a Midwestern Maritime Museum casting groups of fish. Here's how it was done.
1. Aquire FISH. | Fish 1/ Projects fish  |
Fish 2/ Projects mold making material  | 2. Cover with mold making materials. |
| 3.Cover the original mold making material with a 'mother mold' of plaster. (and evidently make sure no one is watching!) | Fish 3 / Projects plaster  |
Fish 4/ Projects fish  | 4. Flip the mold and remove the fish. Recipes, up to you. |
| 5. Pour resin into mold. | Fish 5/ Projects resin  |
Fish 6/ Projects resin  | 6.After the resin has set, remove any mold making materials from the cast (the "blue stuff" in the photo) |
| 7. Prime the resin and paint the cast. | Fish 7/Projects resin  |
